Why Germany ?Germany and France remained first trading partners with each other in 2005. Germany is no doubt, with its 82 million inhabitants, the most important market in Europe and ranks third in the world in terms of GDP behind the United States and Japan. Being located in the heart of the continent makes it one of the mainsprings of the European economy. Germany ranks first in Europe in terms of surface, population and economic power. Germany has developed an active policy of economic openness which aims at boosting foreign investments. Within this framework, France has benefited from numerous advantages which have eased Franco German trade and the setting up of business structures in Germany. |
